Sharla celebrates her 7th year on the WITOC board of directors! She now oversees the Chairman's Advisory Council. Organization, development, processes, and bringing out the best in people are her passions. Her professional background includes legal compliance, administration, and paralegal along with business development and operations. Her success in expanding international business resulted in being awarded 2018 Exporter of the Year from the Irvine Chamber of Commerce. She began her career in New York City in advertising sales with Modern Bride Magazine. She has been a Director of Operations and Export Manager. She holds a degree from Brigham Young University in Communications and Business.

Simona Racek
Simona Racek serves as the WITOC President. She is the Director of Global Trade at Getting to
Global. This forward-thinking technology company provides solutions and programs to multiply the
impact of economic development, trade, and investment organizations worldwide. Simona's work at
Getting to Global focuses on digital export programs that streamline trade through innovative digital
tools. Companies use Getting to Global's technology to navigate and apply for export grants, access
export financing, assess export regulations, manage export documentation, and participate in virtual
trade missions.
Simona works with clients in the private and public sectors, including the Los Angeles Regional Small
Business Development Center Network, the Ventura Economic Development Collaborative, and the
World Trade Center San Diego, delivering next generation. Go Global programs that support
hundreds of businesses in their internationalization efforts.
Simona is the project leader of the digitizing trade initiative sponsored by the San Diego and Imperial
District Export Council to implement a global digital standard for managing trade transactions online
utilizing the International Chamber of Commerce Uniform Rules for Digital Trade Transactions
(URDTT) published on October 1, 2021. Simona has published several articles and educational
videos on digitizing trade. She is also the founder of Just Down the Street, an international trade
consulting company that provides export consulting services to trade organizations.
Simona grew up in Romania during the communist regime and learned the importance of access to
information and goods from outside the borders from an early age. She graduated Magna Cum Laude
from the California State University, Los Angeles, with a bachelor's in International Business. She
received the 2016 Educational Award for Excellence in Export Development from the District Export
Council of Southern California and Port of Los Angeles.
Simona is a mindfulness practitioner in the Plum Village tradition and is fluent in Romanian.

Siddhi Khara is an avid entrepreneur & international trade professional who is solution-driven, reliable, and detail-oriented. Her professional career in trade began as an Assistant Trade Specialist for the U.S. Commercial Service. She then worked for a Los Angeles based Food & Beverage export company (ATI); where she obtained first-hand experience in international logistics, documentation, and sales. She embarked on her entrepreneurial journey when she started her own innovative import digital platform (BIB); where U.S.based customers could rent or purchase imported South Asian textiles and garments. She gained international strategy experience as a consultant for renowned market research firm- Euromonitor International in which she spent 5 years providing data-driven solutions for market entry, competitive analysis, and product positioning to clients in the CPG & B2B space across a variety of industries (Food, Beauty, Packaging). Currently, she is in the process of starting her own consulting firm- Ayra Consulting. She works closely with clients such as Nomadory- focused on sustainable trade; to develop and execute their digital media marketing strategy. Siddhi is an MBA graduate from UC Irvine’s Paul Merage School Of Business, UCLA Certification Program in International Trade & Commerce, UC Irvine BA Business Econ & BA International Studies. She currently serves as Vice President & OWIT representative for WITOC.

Jenny Davidoff is the founder and Sales Director of J. Davidoff & Associates. Fluent in Spanish, Jenny assists clients as a sourcing agent for distributors and retailers in South America. She also provides marketing and promotion, management and training of Spanish language trainers for business and schools. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration - International Business from California State University Long Beach (CSULB) as well as an Associates Degree in Business Administration and an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts from Long Beach City College.
Jenny completed a Fundamentals Certification Program meeting the standards of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) for: Customer Service Operations, Demand Planning, Inventory Management, Manufacturing and Service Operations, Supply Chain Management Principles, Supply Management and Procurement, Transportation Operations, and Warehousing Operations.
